Injection Moulding Technician

Labourpower Trade are seeking a Trainee Trouble-Shooting Technician for our client who is an industry leader in the manufacturing space.

This position is located in Tullamarine and the successful applicant will be happy being an all-rounder - Packing/Labouring & A current Forklift Ticket that will both be utilised while training to be able to Troubleshoot tool & machine related errors on Injection Moulding Machines.

You _must_ have a mechanical aptitude, can-do attitude & commitment to learn.

Once Trained, Your duties will include:

- Packing/Labouring
- Forklift Operation
- Trouble shooting of injection moulding machines
- Perform maintenance according to the procedures on injection moulding machines as scheduled/required
- Maintains a clean and tidy working environment according to site standards
- Maintains production records, logbooks, finished goods reports and other relevant documentation
- Ability to deal with problems
- Providing support to the team
- Attitude to learn and to adopt

Essential Criteria
- A current forklift ticket
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and fitness assessment
- Relevant experience in machine operation - Highly desired
- Able to start immediately
- Be able to work 5 days per week + Overtime where required

**Salary**: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Tullamarine, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
