The Information Management Analyst helps implement compliant recordkeeping at UNSW by collaborating with business units to analyse processes, identify requirements, suggest improvements, manage changes, and supervise staff. Records & Archives offers expert guidance on managing university records and archives, overseeing the Recordkeeping Program and Policy, and managing the university’s recordkeeping system.

**About the Role**

This position will require high-level stakeholder management skills with demonstrated records management experience. The successful applicant will possess and have experience in:

- Work with the Manager, Records & Archives and other key stakeholders to develop and deliver effective, strategically aligned recordkeeping controls to the University.
- Participate in stakeholder groups including Projects, Committees and other enterprise-wide activities to provide strategic advice and support on recordkeeping compliance.
- Provide leadership in the delivery of records management services to the University including the analysis, design, and implementation of effective solutions that lead to improved business outcomes and compliant recordkeeping practices.
- Effectively plan, manage and allocate resources to deliver strategic and operational advice and training in responsibilities, principles and processes to deliver best practice records management.
- Provide operational leadership and advice in the day to day running of the Records & Archives unit.

**About You**
- A relevant degree with 5 years subsequent applied work experience in a records management or similar role, or an equivalent level of knowledge through a combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of innovative and effective information management solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to establish and build relationships with staff at all levels including senior management, and to deliver effective communications to engage and achieve positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in an administrative/records environment.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
