The Commercial division is Allianz Australia's largest distribution channel whose customers include Commercial, Corporate and international buyer groups throughout Australia.

We are currently looking for a **Liability Underwriter** to join our Commercial team to work on complex mid-market/ corporate accounts and provide an exemplary level of service to our broker partners.

**It will be your responsibility to**:
- Taking technical/ underwriting ownership of the more complex liability renewals and on new business opportunities.- Managing workflows (renewals, endorsements, new business etc) to ensure delivery of quality of services and products.- Ensuring business offering is aligned with divisional objectives, portfolio balance and cycle management strategies (growth & profit).- Keeping abreast of market conditions and trends, and maintain a market presence.- Providing feedback to stakeholders and take action to capitalise on business opportunities.**Important to your success**:
- Demonstrated experience in Underwriting liability or multiple lines of commercial business with a detailed understanding of account and reinsurance structures.- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.- Build collaborative relationships with key intermediaries to position AAL as the market leader- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/ or legislative compliance requirements.- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgments and solutions.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
