UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business is experiencing increased growth within our remanufacturing and maintenance division based at our operation in Broadmeadow NSW, with this we are looking for a Mechanist with fitting & machining experience to join the team.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you conduct a variety of machining work on various scopes for the whole of Newcastle Operations team/ scopes. Projects include Unipart, GE, Mining, OHV shut down, new build and WS5.

The role will be offered on a permanent fulltime basis working Monday - Friday on a rotating roster of day/afternoon shifts.

**About You**
- Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency - Mechanical
- Working experience in a maintenance environment is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable & punctual.
- General rail and locomotive experience is desirable but not a necessity.
- Commitment to a safe work environment and practices.
- Work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Focused on quality work & customer service excellence.
- Forklift license is desirable but not a necessity.
- Work cover overhead crane licence desirable but not a necessity.
