Work in a 3 month contract for a Government Department in their ACT warehouse to assist in project delivery

**Your new company**
Hays is seeking experienced logistics professionals to work in the warehouse for our federal government client to assist with project delivery in their ACT warehouse.

**Your new role**
As a warehouse operative you will be required to manually unpack, sort, package, and manage stock in and around the warehouse for prolonged periods of time. You will need to maintain a high attention to detail and ensure the effective management and security of stock being handled, as well as general cleaning duties around the warehouse. You may also be required to operate a Forklift, if you have the relevant license, in a safe and professional manner.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- The ability to work as part of a team in an experienced and professional manner
- Experience in a similar role is required and a Forklift license will be held in high regard
- A current driver’s license and your own transport is essential
- You must also be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a baseline personnel security clearance.
- This position has a COVID-19 vaccination requirement mandated by Hays’ client for health and safety reasons. As such Hays will need to request proof of vaccination status as part of the recruitment process for this position.

**What you'll get in return**
If successful, you will be paid weekly at an APS3 pay level. Additionally, as this role is a temporary contract position, you will have the opportunity to obtain further opportunities through Hays in contract, temporary and permanent roles.
