The role provides leadership and high-level executive support and strategic advice to the Chief Executive (CE) and Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) executive, including overseeing the preparation and coordination of quality and timely briefs and parliamentary responses, and responses to inquiries.

The role is responsible for the coordination of strategic reporting obligations and supports the governance, performance and strategic functions of the organisation through various executive committees.

The role provides guidance of matters relating to the Chief Executive's office including overseeing decisions regarding Government Information Public Access Act.
