**Experienced Disability Support Worker for STA House - KINGSTON, QLD, 4114**

**Essential Criteria**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in the disability/aged care sector
- Experience with high intensity support needs
- Experience with mental health and challenging behaviours
- Experience with Behaviour Support Plans
- Experience with personal care
- Experience with manual handling including a full range of hoist equipment
- Be comfortable driving an accessible wheelchair vehicle (HiAce Van) including use of chair lift equipment
- Experience with a full range of domestic assistance tasks and meal preparation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills as well as empathy, patience and respect for diversity.
- Experience with producing detailed shift notes outlining a full range of services provided
- Willing to go over and above to assist participants in meeting their goals, pursuing their interests and enhancing their quality of life.

**Must Have**

Working rights in Australia (WE DO NOT HIRE FROM OVERSEAS)

Minimum Cert III Individual Support - Disability or Aged Care

Current First Aid & CPR Certificates

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance - Paid Yellow Card

NDIS Working with Children Clearance - Paid Blue Card

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

Current Driving Licence.

Comprehensively insured vehicle.

Availability to work across a range of allocated shifts from 6am to 10pm plus sleepover shifts if required. Short notice availability is also highly regarded.
