The Workshop Controller/2iC will support the Store Manager to drive and maximise productivity, efficiency, and profitability, with a strong focus on delivering “experience amazing” to our staff & customers daily.

**The Successful Applicant Must have**:

- Proven experience undertaking Minor & Major repairs, services & diagnostic work to the highest quality Standards.
- Current clean drivers license
- A valid Motor Mechanic Trade Certification
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician
- Ability to mentor and provide guidance to both junior and senior technicians
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written.
- Customer service skills
- Be available to work Monday to Friday and rotational Saturdays for 4 hours.
- Own tools relevant to the role

**Daily duties will include but not limited to**:

- Complete necessary paperwork including job cards and safety inspection sheets.
- Overseeing, trouble shoot and diagnose issues on vehicles using our modern diagnostic equipment.
- Work closely with the Service Manager
- Mentor Technicians and apprentices
- Ensure both you and the team are reaching targets and deadlines.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and tooling through our extensive network of suppliers and training organisations.
- Place customer satisfaction at high importance and value
