**DESIGNER | INNOVATION | PYRMONT**

We are looking for an experienced **Designer** to join our **Innovation team**. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your already outstanding design career where you will be instrumental in driving key looks and contributing to the creative direction.
- The Designer - Innovation is responsible for the development of innovative designs and projects that will be commercially viable in market._

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Contribute to the creative direction for the brand, ensuring the commercial approach of new innovations in line with brand strategies
- Working with R&D & Tech Fit Team to commercialise new innovations under direction of the Senior Designer
- Monitoring the project’s vision and ensure that the products being developed are in complete harmony with the direction with consideration of category & brand.
- Implement new shape, fabrics, trims and print directions in line with brand direction
- Communicate design updates for projects to wider innovation and Merchandising teams in alignment with business calendar
- Work with Senior Designer on dossier, CADs, colour and prints to present to Head Designer for final approvals
- Support in managing Design Assistant ‘s day to day priorities
- Input information into the PLM system - co-ordinate development pack information which includes completing PLM system with appropriate reference documents, tech data, artwork, and bill of material for new styles
- Ensure quality standards of product development.

**Essential for your success is**:

- Proven track record in similar design roles: 2+ years' experience at Designer level
- An innovative and creative approach to design
- Inspirational team leadership capability
- An ability to work quickly and delivering a high output with high attention to detail
- Knowledge and understanding of fabrics, laces and fibres will be highly advantageous
- An ability to drive design projects from concept through to execution.
- Experience with Adobe Suite required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a systematic approach to work through
