We are looking for an experienced **Designer** to join our **Innovation** team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your already outstanding design career, where you will be instrumental in driving innovative product design and contributing to the creative direction.

The Designer - Innovation is responsible for the development of innovative designs and projects that will be commercially viable in the market. You will work on projects across various categories & brands, depending on the business needs, contributing to a range of exciting and diverse initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the creative direction for the brand, ensuring the commercial approach of new innovations aligns with brand strategies.
- Work collaboratively with R&D to commercialize new innovations.
- Monitor the project's vision and ensure that the products being developed are in complete harmony with the direction, with consideration for category and brand alignment.
- Implement new shapes, fabrics, trims, and print directions in line with brand direction.
- Communicate design updates for projects to the wider innovation and merchandising teams, ensuring alignment with the business calendar.
- Present the Head Designer with design dossiers, colour and print options for final approval.
- Input information into the PLM system and coordinate development pack information, which includes completing the PLM system with appropriate reference documents, tech data, artwork, and the bill of materials for new styles.
- Ensure quality standards of product development.
- Work collaboratively and provide direction to the design assistant, ensuring excellence in range development.
- Ensure the project is on track to meet the critical path, proactively managing timelines to ensure key milestones are met.

**Essential for Your Success**:

- Proven track record in similar design roles: 2+ years' experience at Designer level.
- An innovative and creative approach to design.
- Inspirational team leadership capability with the ability to provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Ability to work quickly and deliver a high output with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge and understanding of fabrics, laces, and fibres will be highly advantageous.
- Ability to drive design projects from concept through to execution.
- Experience with Adobe Suite required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a systematic approach to work through.
