Our residents are the focus of all we do, and we are continually working to provide exceptional care choices to help them live their best life possible. **About the role** - Based in our Singleton Aged Care Facility - Casual role with cleaning shifts available on weekdays and weekends (6am-12:30pm or 8am-2:30pm) - Laundry shifts are available weekdays from 6am - 2pm - Ensure that internal facilities are kept clean and tidy in accordance with Mercy’s hygiene and safety standards - Use your cleaning and/or laundry experience to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home for our residents - Support our residents to have clean clothing and laundry each day - Previous experience in cleaning, laundry, housekeeping or similar - A strong understanding of hygiene, safety, and infection control guidelines - Excellent time management skills and ability to complete tasks without direct supervision - A genuine passion for helping people, particularly with a desire to help older people - Be a team player with a positive, can-do approach - Professionalism and alignment with the values and ethos of Mercy Services - Ability to maintain high standards of safety in all that you do within the workplace Desirable - Experience in a cleaning/housekeeping role in an aged care facility, hotel or similar - Qualifications in Cleaning, Health Support or similar - This role is covered under the Aged Care Award 2010._ - As part of our Employment screening process you will be required to undertake a National Criminal Record Check, NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check.
