Lifestyle Assistant

**_The Role _**

Working closely with the lifestyle team as well as, members of the clinical, administration, allied health, volunteer, and hospitality teams, you will work with limited direct supervision and be responsible for encouraging individual residents to remain independent and to participate in a wide variety of meaningful activities that supports their needs, wishes and interest, while promoting their quality of life.

The ability to “think on your feet”, communicate, with, build rapport and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers is essential, as is the desire to making the most of the personal and professional development opportunities we offer.

**_ About You_**

At Infin8care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so you **DO NOT** need experience in the aged care sector, you do however need to be aligned with our philosophy and values, have strong communication skills, be computer literate and have a commitment to resident wellbeing as well as the following,
- A Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support / Leisure and Health / Diversional Therapy or equivalent
- A willingness to work across a rotating roster that includes weekends
- Proactive and measured attitude to identifying & preventing safety hazards in the workplace.
- Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times.
- Commitment to attend safety specific training and upskilling sessions paid by the company.
- Willingness to come up with safety ideas that improve awareness, hazard reduction and incident reporting.
