**TALCO Group are on the look-out for Indigenous Apprentice Carpenters (Formwork) to join their team to complete a Certificate III in Carpentry & Joinery.**

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Assist in Commercial construction of large scale developments.
- Undertake formwork and suspended slabs.
- Safely demolish existing structures, renovate and extend current structures.
- Work safely on busy building sites, alongside of other trade persons.
- Utilise power tools safely and in accordance to WHS policies and procedures.

**Required skills and/or attributes**:

- Demonstrates a genuine interest in the industry
- Committed to completing your 4-year Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work within a team
- Understand and abide by workplace health and safety guidelines

**Essential Criteria**:

- White Card
- Driver’s licence and own transportation
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
- Physically fit and able to lift safely
