We are a 35 place, community run, Child care and Funded Kindergarten in Kew.
We are looking for passionate, dedicated, and capable Educators to join our team. We are looking for Diploma or certificate 3 Qualified Educators for casual positions with the possibility of a permanent part time position, in an amazing Exceeding the National Quality Standards centre.
Our service is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, and runs an indoor/outdoor program throughout the day.
Belford Oaks is dedicated to providing a child safe environment ensuring all applicants undergo a thorough screening process and meet relevant criteria.

**About the role, duties will include**:
- Working in a rooms with 2-3 other educators and between to 10-15 children.
- Working with the Educators in planning for and implementing experiences.
- Supporting children's learning with the environment
- Documenting children's learning
- Assisting in the daily running and up keep of the room, undertaking cleaning duties, nappy changing and effective supervision.
- Communicating with the families about the children's day and routines
- Attending monthly staff meetings
- Contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan.
**Skills and experience**:
- Diploma or Certificate 3 Qualified
- WWCC, First aid, Anaphylaxis and asthma training (Full First Aid will be paid for and updated in October, payment covered by the centre)
- Shifts between 7:30am-6pm
- A working knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLF, NQS and how to implement them in the planning cycle
- Experience with the planning cycle
- An understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy is desirable but not required
- Experience working with children aged 6 months to 5 years.
