Structural Design Technician

Our South Queensland region has an opportunity for an expert Structural Design Technician to join our Digital Design team based in the Brisbane office.

**Working on a variety of projects within Health, Defence, Infrastructure, Mining and Marine you will specifically be involved in**:

- Delivering integrated project deliverables exclusively in Autodesk Revit; taking responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work produced.
- Undertaking drawing reviews and model audits utilising tools such as Bluebeam, Solibri, Autodesk Navisworks, Bentley iTwin etc.
- Leading Coordination and Collaboration utilising the Federated Model in the following platforms: Autodesk Navisworks, BIM360 Model Coordination and Bentley iTwin.
- Coordinating designs with the wider Property & Buildings team
- Solving issues, supporting your fellow team members, mentoring peers and providing candid modelling, and engineering advice.
- Collaboration and liaison with other engineering teams & groups to ensure all design elements are considered.

**What you will bring to the team?**
- Associate Degree / Advanced Diploma in engineering.
- An ability to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and proficiency when creating, editing & managing Revit families.
- Autonomy - with an ability to work independently, delivering accurate Revit models, structural details and coordinated drawings.
- Previous experience using visual programming tool such as Dynamo and/or Grasshopper preferable.
- Skilled in the use of Revit, Navisworks and associated coordination packages
- Sound knowledge of Australian Building Codes & Standards;
- A firm understanding of ISO19650 principles;
- A flair & passion for managing project outcomes, budgets and the ability to work well with people across all levels.
