We are a rapidly growing global Strategy, Data Analytics and Research Firm. We focus on energy transition. This covers renewables, carbon measurement, carbon capture, existing energy sources, resources and technology. We service Governments, Advisors, Fund Managers, Producers and the broad Energy Renewables supply chain.

We are based in Sydney with offices in London and Toronto. Our firm is composed of teams of expert engineers, consultants, programmers, economists, and financial experts. We research and publish reports as a world leading independent expert. This involves industry forecasts, valuations and long-term strategic industry analysis.

We are a creative, diverse and dedicated team with 50 years of expertise.

**About the Role**:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in generating and qualifying leads to fuel the sales pipeline. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively reach out to potential customers, effectively communicate the value of our products/services, and establish initial relationships with key decision-makers. This involves researching and mapping our target prospects and building a strong picture of their needs and corporate structure. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for business growth and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and updated records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the sales team to map organisations/territories and organize campaigns.
- Convert prospects into leads, qualifying their needs and presenting our value proposition.
- Maintaining contact with former clients
- Ascertaining which competitors prospects use, when their subscription becomes up for renewal and arranging demonstrations of our platform during their renewal period.
- Provide excellent client service, focusing on long-term relationships

**You are likely to succeed if you**:

- Have a driven and results-focused mentality.
- Are degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Engineering or Science
- Ideally, have 1-2 years of experience in a corporate B2B environment.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication
- Are highly self-motivated and proactive with your time
- Have an empathetic personality, strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Are coachable and eager to learn.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney Central Business District, NSW 2000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Business development: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
