The Opportunity

Our Assistant Store Managers keep our Hub’s running smoothly. They are the legends that ensure our entire hub team are all in sync. Running a MILKRUN Hub store requires a bit of hustle and energy and our Assistant Hub Managers know just how to keep the team motivated. Your role is instrumental in supporting the Hub Manager. As assistant hub manager you will support the Hub manager, to look after the teams to continue delivering an excellent customer experience, driving process and ensuring smooth operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Hub Manager with day-to-day operations, ranging from inventory, tool box talks through to picking and packing and other ad hoc tasks.
- Lead & instruct the entire hub team. Keeping the team humming is something you love to do.
- Be a stickler for detail when it comes to making sure every customer has exactly what they ordered in quality, quantity and product.
- Help with inventory control & incoming shipments when they come in.
- Look for ways to improve the team's performance, Hub culture or customer experience.
- Hire and train new Hub staff. Don’t worry if you don’t have experience hiring. We can help you level up your recruitment skills.
- When the Hub Manager can’t be there you step in and manage the teams, operations and delivery process.
- Ad hoc tasks as required - we’re a startup, so expect to wear many hats

What you bring to the role
- If you have experience controlling inventory and managing leading people we would get extra excited.
- You know how to play your part to assist the Hub Manager to control costs including shrinkage and wage control.
- You’re an empathetic and engaging people leader. You know how to motivate a team and keep people focused during the rush.
- You’ll be able to point to examples where you improved processes or made things more efficient. If you point out an issue, you’ve already thought of the solution.
- We are a startup which means we don't have it all figured out yet. You're okay with a bit of ambiguity and can adapt quickly when needed.
- Ability to work with fluid schedules; being available peak hours of operation and most weekends.
- Australian working rights are a must.
