**LeisureFit Athletic Coach**
- **Temporary, Casual position.**:
- **Hourly rate from $38.22 (inclusive of 25% casual loading)**
The City of Melville LeisureFit has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Athletic Coach. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about fitness and helping other people to achieve their goals.
In this role, you’ll be providing safe and motivating classes based on the LeisureFit Athletic program to the local community. You will be actively assisting with the development and delivery of the LeisureFit Athletic programs and classes to both Juniors and Adults; helping them to maximise their fitness results and overall athletic performance.
There will be opportunities for involvement with the marketing efforts of LeisureFit by working to promote our programs on the City’s social media platforms. In addition to this, there will be requirements for administrative duties relating to the Athletic program in order to ensure a safe environment, that complies with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and standards.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Demonstrated experience in coaching running, cycling, and swimming programs;
- Demonstrated experience in developing fitness programs;
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Current Applied First Aid Certificate;
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate;
- Working with Children;
- Preferred Austswim or equivalent accreditation;
- Desired but not essential, is a TriathlonWA Foundation Coach Accreditation or equivalent.
