**Child Care Room Leader**

philosophy and in accordance with the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks and the National Quality Standard.

Children of all age groups have access to our programs such as cooking, gardening, language, sports and much more.

An opportunity to join our team at the Lovely Banks centre as **Child Care Room Leader h**as become available.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities

2. Create and maintain a fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning

environment.

3. Assist in developing and implementing the educational program and assist children to achieve quality learning outcomes.

4. Prepare and conduct activities for children

5. Entertain children by reading and playing games

6. Monitor the learning and wellbeing of children accurately and thoroughly.

7. Assist with all daily administrative and housekeeping tasks.

8. Build and maintain excellent relationships with children, families and staff.

9. Manage children's behaviour and guide children's social development

10. Supervise children in recreational activities

11. Supervise the daily routine of children

12. Supervise the hygiene of children

13. Ensures compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices.

14. Administer medication to children safely and accurately.

15. Ensure the facility is kept clean and safe, adhering to OH&S and other regulations.

**Skills**:
1. Good knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.

2. Comfortable talking to families

**Qualifications**:Suitable certification or relevant experience

**Experience**: At least 3 years experience in a similar environment

**Salary**:$55 to $65k per annum

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- LOVELY BANKS, VIC 3214: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
