About the Role
Located in the vibrant Greater Springfield area within the Western Corridor of Brisbane/Ipswich, Springfield Central State High School offers more than just a job opportunity; it's a chance to be part of something transformative. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of our region and making a real difference in the lives of young people.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Work closely with the Principal to develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with the school's goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction in the management of financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Lead significant facilities projects, oversee and ensure accountability for school maintenance, develop and implement initiatives for facilities management, asset maintenance and replacement plans.
- Collaborate with school leadership to identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor school support staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders, including staff, parents, and external partners, to build positive relationships and support the school community.
- Exemplify strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Provide strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering quality results and driving continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to school administration and finance.
