**Role Description**:
This is a contract role for a Splunk Analyst with 12 months of engagement. The Splunk Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including monitoring and analyzing security events, conducting cyber threat hunting and intelligence activities, and supporting cybersecurity operations. This is a hybrid role based in Melbourne, allowing for some work from home flexibility.
**Responsibility**:
- Manage Splunk data ingestion.
- Monitor and maintain Splunk infrastructure and configurations (both on-prem and cloud).
- Enhance and optimize Splunk capabilities.
**Qualifications**
- Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) skills
- Experience in Security Operations Center
- Knowledge in Cybersecurity
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified User, CISSP) preferred
