**About the role**

As an Automatic Door/Gate Technician at Talbot Auto Doors, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing automatic doors and gates across the Gold Coast area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work for a leading provider of high-quality door and gate solutions, with over 30 years of experience in the industry, providing you with the chance to develop your technical skills and gain valuable experience in the trades and services industry.

**What you'll be doing**
- Conducting scheduled maintenance and inspections of automatic doors and gates to include boom gates, roller shutters
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with automatic door and gate systems
- Performing repairs and replacements of components as required
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
- Install, service and repairs

**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience as an Automatic Door/Gate Technician or similar technical role
- Strong technical problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
