- Pay: From $40.00 per hour depending on experience

A fun loving and busy professional family living in Essendon, Melbourne are seeking an energetic and nurturing nanny to care for their 5 children (11,8,5, 3and 1yrs) and to contribute to the smooth running of the household.

**The day and normal hours are:

- 5 days - 30-37 hours per week**

Monday - Friday 7.00am -10.00/11.00am & 3.00pm -6.00/6.30pm

Extra hours available in the evenings from time to time and also the opportunity to travel with the family at least once a year.

**Note: Full drivers licence and own car (Kms and petrol to be reimbursed)**

An ideal nanny would be energetic and nurturing/compassionate. A nanny who shows initiative, is happy to pitch in, play and engage with the children and contribute to the smooth running of the household. A nanny who genuinely loves working with children, can adapt, be productive and become part of the family.

Previous experience working with large families and having cared for the different age groups would be advantageous

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Play and engage with the children
- Assist with school drop off and pick up
- Assist with after school activities
- General tidying of kids areas, strip/ make kids beds
- Laundry, folding, putting away
- Assist with meal prep and cooking (Mum will do this most nights)
- Assist with homework

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3 years + experience as a nanny or household manager
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Swims
- Full Drivers licence and clean driving record (Own car)
- Up to date with all vaccinations
