As a Disability Support Worker, you will deliver a variety of services to participants to support them to live a fulfilling and meaningful life in the community. Your working day may include (but not limited to), assistance and or support with daily living activities, domestic activities, social and community participation and varying skill development activities.

The successful worker will be someone with the flexibility to work long shifts, nights and weekends able to work with clients with complex needs/ behaviours - mental illness, intellectual impairment.

You're a passionate, empathetic and caring individual who is looking to make an invaluable positive impact on the lives of others. You're calm, collected and resilient in the face of adversity and are looking to carry these qualities with you to the front line to start helping those in need. You are an independent, proactive thinker and worker but are also able to follow direction/s given by your Team Leader and can work within a tight-knit team.

To join our team, you must have the following requirements:

- **Essential**:_
- Must have full flexibility with availability for long shifts including active and in active hours (In Active Shifts)
- Ability to do all shifts including active overnights - 3pm to 7am
- Experience in working with people with Mental illness, Intellectual, developmental disabilities
- First Aid Certificate /Mental Health First Aid
- Experience in working with complex challenging behaviours
- Experience in working with Clients with Restrictive practices
- Driver's License and your own vehicle
- Practical, active and caring personality
- NDIS New Worker Screening Card (or willingness to obtain)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $29.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Shift work
