**The Role**:
Jardin Tan is a popular café destination found within the lush, green embrace of Melbourne’s Royal Botanical Gardens harnessing the true farm to table philosophy with is very own market garden on site.

Not just your standard café, Jardin Tan is a truly multifaceted venue. Whether it be a quick coffee and pastry available from the dedicated Kiosk, a High Tea enjoyed within the confines of the stunning Eatery, or hosting both corporate and private events of an evening, Jardin Tan has something for everyone.

Reporting to the Venue Manager we are looking for a motivated Assistant Venue Manager to provide inspiration, direction & support to the Jardin Tan Team to ensure we deliver an exceptional hospitality experience to each and every one of our guests. This hands-on position will suit a dynamic hospitality superstar with experience in a similar role that is looking to take the next step in joining a renowned hospitality group set to expand.

**What we are looking for**:

- A passion and drive for exceptional hospitality and great customer service
- Previous experience leading a team within a hospitality environment
- Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Positive attitude and genuine customer focus in service excellence
- Be self-motivated and strive to continually learn
- Previous experience managing functions and events preferred
- Experience managing financial budgets such as Purchases, COGS, Operational Expenses, Wages and EBITDA highly desired
