Bridge Resources provides resourcing, recruitment and workforce management solutions to the mining and resources, construction, and civil sectors.

Bridge Resources are actively recruiting for an experienced
**Buyer **to join our client, who are global leader in the design & manufacture of drones across the defence space, on a 6-month contract basis with the possibility of extension pending workload.

**Job description**:

- Purchases materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and services.
- Follow established purchasing policies and procedures.
- Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders & conversion into ERP system **(Epicor)**:

- Procurement through online ordering systems
- Consult with suppliers to provide timely, accurate and forward-looking updates of supplier's progress to meet delivery schedules.
- Assist in stores as and when required.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders ensuring purchase requirements are satisfactorily met.
- Consult with production materials planner, understand project plan, and expedite material accordingly.
- Resolve delivery issues with vendors and internal customers as they arise.
- Create, maintain & updated reports, including freight tracker, for PR status including open PO & PR.

**Your experience**:

- Proficient in the use Microsoft Excel and ERP systems - **Epicor** highly desirable.
- Previous **buying experience** in a manufacturing environment - **MUST**:

- Experience consulting with international suppliers is desirable.
- Experience in data base management tools is required.
- The ability to manage and prioritise own activities to meet deadlines.
