Hornsby is one of our larger sites supporting 9 clients in SIL and self contained units on the property. We support people with complex mental health, psychosocial, intellectual and physical disabilities and high support needs.

This site requires charismatic, very pro-active and present experienced support workers (who are available for over night shifts and reliable) who have great communication skills and a love for deep conversation, person centered care and making a difference

**Your role**:

- Promote choice and control and show eagerness to participate in our clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- Follow positive behaviour support and client care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Person centered active support
- Provide personal care and manual handling with dignity and respect.
- To be efficient in computer skills and report writing

**Some of our requirements**:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm
- 11pm), active/sleepover nights (10pm-6am OR 11pm-7am).
