**Responsibilities**:

- As a HSE Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Report directly to Hutchies’ Team Leader who is responsible for Hutchies’ operations in Toowoomba
- Implement Hutchies' Health, Safety, Environment and Quality System on each of our projects
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders, such as subcontractors, to continually improve HSEQ outcomes on Hutchies’ projects
- Monitor legislative change and implement any local legislative change requirements
- Prepare incident reports, undertake incident investigations, liaise with affected parties and the regulator as necessary
- Provide HSEQ advice to other members of our team, including Site Managers and Project Managers, and Subcontractors, as appropriate
- Prepare, implement, monitor, and update project specific management plans based on Hutchies’ Management System Complete inspections, audits, and reviews in line with the HSEQ Management System Management Plans

**Requirements**:

- To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Minimum of Certificate IV - Workplace Health and Safety
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the construction industry, very favourable
- Strong knowledge of construction specific legislation and Codes of Practice
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
- Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
- A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
