**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are looking for an experienced Retail leader to optimise performance across our multi-site fuel and convenience operations across Perth. This is an opportunity to directly impact your region and the growth of Retail Formats and Trials across EG store operations.

This role will ensure business standards and expectations are met such as maximising shop & fuel sales of about 10 - 18 stores, managing costs, executing the shop program and providing a great customer experience. The Area Manager will provide a consistent focus on operational excellence and promote individual growth and development for our store teams. This role plays a critical part in providing feedback to and from the support office to help further improve and optimise our operations.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager you will:

- Draw upon your deep operational understanding of store and market level P&L drivers to deliver market performance
- Manage budgets and forecasts and analyse financial data to reduce costs and improve profitability
- Ensure consistent execution by driving in-store compliance of the shop program and use of the Store Operations Manual with the Store teams
- Skilfully execute retail initiatives, promotional programs, and customer offers
- Champion a safety culture and ensure compliance with corporate & statutory requirements
- Conduct and/or review site compliance audits and develop remedial action plans
- Recruit, train, coach, motivate and manage the performance of a large vibrant, and diverse team
- Develop workforce resourcing plans, including pathways for high performers
- Govern cost control by imparting a business owner mindset and ability to deliver cost efficiencies

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Proven leadership experience across multi-site retail management
- Petrol and/or Convenience experience (desirable) that has shaped your understanding of market and competitor activity, local community, and customer demographics
- Ability to build credible relationships, engaging as one team in the way we work together
- Leads with the customer in mind and inspires the team to create a customer focussed culture in store while improving standards and customer offer
- Purpose-driven leader that inspires, supports and engages the team
- Based in the Perth Metro area
