**About the Mental Health Program**

Monash Health Mental Health Program provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash LGAs - a population of nearly one million. It has an operational budget of $130 million and employs approximately 820 EFT, representing over 1000 staff.

Psychology & Specialist Services (PsySS) in the mental health program runs a number of programs across Monash Health including the Wellness and Recovery Centre. WRC is a specialist eating disorder service offering comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and evidence based treatment to individuals affected by anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, and other specified eating disorder (OSFD).

Services include:

- Adults (18-65yo) Inpatient treatment
- Adults (18-65yo) Outpatient treatment
- Day Program (12-24yo)
- Aviary (12-18yo) Inpatient treatment

**About the Wellness and Recovery Day Program**

The Butterfly Day Program commenced operations in 2007, and has a proud history of engaging adolescents and their families in the treatment of an Eating Disorder. Following a review and redesign of the model of care in 2016, a new treatment paradigm has been established that reflects best practice and innovation.

The Wellness and Recovery Centre (WRC) Day Program is a community-based specialised service providing client-centred, holistic support and intervention to individuals (aged12-24 years) suffering from severe and complex eating disorders. The program offers a high level of care to individuals who require more intensive support than can be achieved through usual outpatient treatment. Through a combination of group therapy and meal support, our multidisciplinary team works with participants and their families and significant others to achieve nutritional rehabilitation and normalisation of eating behaviour

**About the Role**
- The Mental Health Clinician position is a 0.6 EFT (part time) parental leave position with the WRC Day Program.
- The Mental Health Clinician operates as part of a multidisciplinary team providing treatment to individuals with eating disorders (12-24years) and their families in a day program context.
- This role would suit an experienced mental health clinician who is passionate about supporting the recovery of individuals with an eating disorder.
- The ability to engage and work with adolescents on a group and individual level will be highly regarded, as will the ability to work with the individuals system. This role will suit someone who wants to be part of the ongoing development of a service to improve the health and wellbeing of people with an eating disorder in a service known for innovation.

**What you need**:

- Current registration with AHPRA (if appropriate)
- Working with Children's Check
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications in mental health
- Proven significant clinical experience
- Australian working rights
