**About Us**:
The Wellness and Recovery Centre (WRC) is a specialist eating disorder service that is treatment based and recovery orientated. Teams provide care to both acute inpatient medical units and community treatment options utilising evidence based therapies, within a person centred model. Whilst not providing case management services, we work collaboratively with both public and private service agencies to provide specialist guidance and input as needed to assist with determining clinical care pathways.

**About the Role**:
The Mental Health Clinician will work within a multi-disciplinary team based at Monash Children’s Hospital, supporting young people admitted to a medical unit during the acute phase of an eating disorder. The role provides meal support, group work and individual support and works closely with nursing, medical, allied health and other mental health teams.

The team works on a shift roster, working between 7am-9:30pm 7 days per week. Training, support and supervision will be available to the successful applicant.

This role is a permanent part time (0.4FTE) position.

**About You**:
You are an experienced clinician with experience in a mental health setting. You enjoy working within a team environment and have a keen focus on fostering relationships to improve service provision and deliver patient-centred care. Your ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to a wide audience is a core competency for this position, along with excellent time-management skills.

**Mandatory requirements of the role**:

- Current registration with AHPRA (if appropriate)
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications in mental health
- Proven significant clinical experience
- Working with Children’s Check
