
Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team at Scandinavia Floors, a small wholesaler of premium European oak engineered timber flooring.
This full-time, 100% on-site role is ideal for a hands-on marketing professional with both strategic and operational experience. You will lead marketing initiatives, manage content and digital channels, and support customer engagement efforts in alignment with business goals.
Collaboration with internal teams, including logistics and sales, will ensure that marketing efforts are timely, accurate, and aligned with product availability. This position is strictly on-site, with no option for remote work.
This position is a Full Time and strictly on site, with no option for remote work. There will be occasional weekend work for industry events and client meetings.
**Key Responsibilities**
**B2B Marketing Execution**
- Develop and implement B2B marketing strategies targeting the building and design industries.
- Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into long-term business relationships.
**Brand Promotion and Product Positioning**
- Maintain consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Create brochures, case studies, and promotional materials for the construction and design sectors.
**Content Creation and Website Maintenance**
- Develop and update content using CMS platforms.
- Optimise product pages and improve user experience (UX).
- Ensure all website information is current and accurate, including promotions and product changes.
- Troubleshoot basic website issues as needed.
**Event Coordination**
- Attend and represent the company at industry events and trade shows (including occasional weekends).
- Participate in client meetings and potential site visits.
**Market Research and Analysis**
- Conduct market research and analyse customer feedback and sales data.
- Identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure marketing aligns with product availability.
- Support promotional campaigns tied to inventory or seasonal sales.
**Skills and Experience Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in marketing, with strong skills in brand development and digital campaigns.
- Solid understanding of B2B marketing, preferably within the building, construction, or design sectors.
- Ability to manage end-to-end marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
**Technical Skills**
- Proficiency in CMS platforms for content and website management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva.
- Understanding of SEO and user experience principles.
**Additional Requirements**
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
- Multilingual skills (preferred), especially for communication with European suppliers and clients.
- Ability to manage client inquiries and present effectively during client meetings.
**Salary**: $73,150 per annum plus superannuation
Pay: $73,150.00 per year
