Due to unprecedented growth in the region, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor to join our remote portfolio in the Moranbah/Dysart region in Central Queensland. Working a FIFO 8:6 roster, you will support 4 villages covering a contract including cleaning, catering, grounds/maintenance and security.

The Position
- Supporting the implementation and continual improvement of our HSE and Quality management systems
- Providing specialist HSE advice and support to our operational teams
- Supporting the operational team with compliance with legal requirements
- Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our HSE performance
- Conducting regular safety interactions
- Undertaking incident investigations, developing meaningful corrective actions and monitoring their implementation and effectiveness
- Undertaking HSE monitoring and compliance activities
- Assisting with the contract HSE Reporting

The Person
- Experience in Safety Advisory positions, having held responsibility for delivering overall HSEQ support
- Strong and decisive safety leadership skills with ability to engage stakeholders
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, effectively bringing people along the site safety journey
- Highly developed skills in communication, presentations and reporting
- Certificate IV in WH&S
- Experience in HACCP and food safety management favourable
