**About the role

Permanent full time or part time opportunity to assist the Allied Health Professionals of the Physiotherapy Department at Redcliffe Hospital to provide optimal clinical services to clients of Redcliffe Hospital in the areas of Rehabilitation, Acute wards and Outpatients.

About you

Monitor workloads and where appropriate assist other Allied Health Assistants as required to ensure priority workloads are completed.
Undertake specified patient care activities which may be performed independently or under supervision as directed by physiotherapists. Ensure timely handover and feedback and escalation to delegating health professionals.
Provide basic education to patients and families on a defined range of topics.
Prepare treatment media (equipment or materials) as needed by the Health Professionals and maintain work areas in compliance with Workplace Heath and Safety guidelines.
