**Finance Assistant**

Temp | Full-time | Available to start immediately | Albion - North Side |
- Free on-site parking

**The role**:

- Receive, review and prepare invoices in readiness for processing into MYOB Advanced.
- Process payments by electronic transfer to ensure timely receipt by creditors.
- Perform reconciliation of payment amounts with supplier statements.
- Maintain the records of accounts payable and receivable by filing all source documents.
- Assist with the completion of receipting on a daily basis.
- Process deposits into MYOB Advanced and ensure details are recorded correctly.
- Ensure donor details are recorded correctly in line with the relevant legislation.
- Assist with the corporate online banking needs of Party Unit users.
- Prepare reports and other documentation for management when requested.

**You**

To be successful for this role. You will have:

- A sound knowledge of Australian Taxation (GST) requirements.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- A sound knowledge of Excel.
- Experience in MYOB Advanced, preferable.
- Experience in processing accounts payable and general ledger transactions.
- Cert IV or degree in a finance related field or working towards is desirable.
- Good numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong administration skills
