SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia. We are currently seeking for a passionate Employment Coach to join our team in **Hastings **and you may be required to travel to** Rosebud and Mornington.**
In this role, you’ll be part of a supportive and result driven team who are dedicated to our vision of well-being, independence and opportunity for everyone. Day
- to-day activities will include:
- Providing one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs, and creating personalised action plans.
- Conducting career assessments and helping clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
- Using sales strategies to work collaboratively and network with community organisations to create opportunities for participants.
- Assisting participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
- Referring participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long term employment outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance requirements are met.
**About You**
- Experience in customer service, client facing or an administrative role.
- Time management, organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise in order to achieve outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal, and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, developing case plans and case notes and reports.
- Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
- Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent computer skills.
**For this role, you will need to**:
- Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Be eligible to work in Australia
