Begin your journey wish us as an **Finance Officer **at the Westin/Four Points Brisbane. The role will be required to assist in the daily accounting function ensuring timely and accurate input for the reporting timetables. You will have knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking & Cashiering and previous experience is a fast paced, high volume Finance Team would be an advantage.

Conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.

**Who you are and what you need**:

- Diploma qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in Finance or Accounting
- Ability to work autonomously with a high level of attention to detail
- Capability to identify solutions and undertake quality control activities
- Excellent communication skills, effective collaboration skills and a positive outlook on challenges
- Competence in using systems such as Excel
- Familiarity with finance management systems, such as Peoplesoft is highly regarded
- Hospitality industry experience is preferred but not essential
- A police check is required for this role
