**About us**:
Zillmere State School is located on the Northside of Brisbane and is a small school of just over 110 students with a community based and friendly welcoming staff.

**Your Role**:
You must be able to work as a team and autonomously as needed within the schools cleaning plan. Experience using cleaning equipment and knowledge of a schools Chemical Management Plan is an advantage.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Cleaning of windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment, cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces and sweeping and vacuuming.
- Removal of graffiti, disposal of rubbish, litter control including removal of material between buildings and from gutters and drains, hosing and dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.

**Mandatory Requirements**:
In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 a person is prohibited from working in regulated child-related employment unless the person holds a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
Furthermore, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal history check prior to commencement.
