About Zillmere State School
Zillmere State School contains 110 students and caters for students from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. Our inclusive curriculum engages the 40% of First Nations students through embedding the cross-curriculum priorities and high expectations for all learners. It is the hub of the local community with a proud history of success.
About the Role
- Implement version 9 of the Australian Curriculum through collaborative planning and modelling in a multi-age context.
- Support the Principal leading Reading implementation through the Australian Curriculum.
- Lead the pedagogy development of teachers and teacher aides at Zillmere with a key focus on visible learning, explicit instruction and high yield strategies.
- Lead and coordinate the coaching and mentoring of teachers and teacher aides, developing collegiality, building a learning culture.
- Lead the development, implementation and review of teaching and learning strategies in targeted programs eg synthetic phonics.
