**The Opportunity**

The E7A Wedgetail is considered the world's most advanced airborne surveillance aircraft, and the BDA team are committed to ensuring we continue to deliver this world class airborne early warning and control capability to our Australian defence customer through upgrade and sustainment programs.

We are currently seeking a talented leader, ready to take on a breadth of technical execution and leadership responsibilities to drive program outcomes within the Mission Systems domain.

Working closely with the local team and customer, your focus will be to drive continuous improvement, develop and execute project and process plans, and develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Demonstrated technical leadership: a proven ability to lead teams of technical personnel to deliver technical solutions for the customer.
- Demonstrated personnel leadership: including the ability to foster, develop, and sustain cross-functional teams to support current and future objectives.
- Formal Project Management, Agile, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications is desired, however, prior experience will also be considered.
- Experience in the estimating, planning, managing and reporting progress of technical work scope.
- Software, Hardware and/or Systems domain knowledge: other technical skills as relevant to the position will also be considered
- Experience in delivering/integrating systems within Defence project environments is desirable
