As a Mortgage Services Officer, you’ll be responsible for providing support to the local and offshore operations teams, and more broadly managing systems, quality, change and ad-hoc projects onshore. You’ll report directly to the Head of WPB and will be critical to the success of DBS Mortgage Operations. GSC escalations, system testing, workflow tool management, mini projects, training and coaching of GSC staff, IT releases, PIM management, system access reviews and complaints management are all specific accountabilities of this diverse role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Providing ongoing support to GSC colleagues around process within MBS originations and servicing
- Assisting and coaching both onshore and offshore staff members in the team when requested
- Managing systems testing for MBS and at times more broadly across DBS Operations
- Managing escalations from the Branch network around settlement matters
- Continuously working to identify opportunities to improve or streamline mortgage processes
- Maintaining HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
Requirements
**Requirements**:
- Sound experience of mortgage documentation
- Sound knowledge of the mortgage regulatory environment
- Strong knowledge of the UCCC, Privacy Act and the Code of Banking practice (CoBP)
- Strong knowledge of the relevant Land Title Office regulations and policies in each state and territory and Stamp Duty regulations and policies in each state and territory
- An ability to effectively manage queries raised by both internal and external stakeholders
