The Veterinary Receptionist is the first point of contact for Evervets clients whether by phone or in person. Deliver the client care strategy, focusing on providing exceptional customer service for clients, whilst improving operational efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improvement. Ensure the client and patient care are carried out in line with Evervet’s direction, always upholding the brand’s values and behaviours.

Previous Veterinary Clinic experience is highly desirable but not essential

Key Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and lead all aspects of the reception.
- Ensure communication is effective and mirrors the essence of the Evervet brand.
- Customer service troubleshooting, including support for consulting and surgical bookings prioritising seeing urgent cases and/or deferring appointments when circumstances dictate.
- Assist in developing and implementing checklists for the various reception roles.
- Ensure the patient remains the focus at the core of all decision-making.
- Create an environment that maximises the fear-free experience of all patients.
- Assist in coordinating reception team meetings.
- Provide support to veterinarians and nurses whilst always upholding the company values.
- Assist the inventory manager with the stock control of merchandise.
- Maintaining information in Ezyvet
- Assisting clients with pet insurance claims
- Assisting Veterinary Nurses and Veterinarians as required
- Greeting and managing clients and patients.
- Making follow up calls to clients
- Client and patient data management.
- Helping clients with OTC products such as flea, tick and worming treatments.
- Managing multiple incoming phone lines and directing calls
- Scheduling appointments and communicating booking requirements to clients
- Communicating patient arrivals and emergencies to clinical staff
- Finalizing invoices, processing client payments and balancing the till.
- Maintaining a clean and presentable front of house
- Completing a variety of administration tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
