As a Trade Assistant /Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our skilled tradespeople in the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of commercial water tanks, as well as assisting with various tasks in our workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach and a passion for learning new skills in a thriving industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial water tanks, both in South Australia and interstate.
- Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring all tools and materials are ready for use.
- Operate various hand and power tools and workshop machinery.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work area within both workshop and site environments
- Support tradespeople with various tasks as required.
- Perform general labouring duties
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors and follow instructions

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or a keen interest in the trades industry.
- Ability to work safely in construction, maintenance and workshop environments.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- White Card.
- Willingness and availability to work intra and interstate as required

**Desirable**:

- Relevant qualifications or certifications, including Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, EWP, Forklift etc

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
