**The Role**:
The primary responsibility of the First Football Coach is to lead and coach the Carey First Football Team. This position will oversee the First Girls Football Team.

Reporting to the Head of Football and the Carey Head of Coaching & Performance, you will play a key role in the mentorship of players. You will also oversee and contribute to the development of the football program.

**The Average Day**:

- Attend and coach all pre-season and mid-week training sessions, APS Saturday games and practice matches
- Create a progressive training program for player and team development
- Maintain a safe environment, promoting student well-being
- Manage equipment for training and matches
- Create and distribute communications to relevant stakeholders
- Ad-hoc administration as required

**The Person**:
To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate sporting teams
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- First Aid and Anaphylaxis certification
- Coaching accreditation certificate (Minimum level 2)
- A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
