The opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Manager to lead, service and grow our Hobart branch. It is essential that you come from a recruitment management background. This is a multi-faceted role, so you will need to be able to juggle multiple priorities and manage your time effectively. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the main purpose of this position is to lead our team, develop and grow revenue & profitability of the branch and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across all branch activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring all established practices and all policies are adhered to by staff
- Leading and mentoring your team of white collar and blue collar 360 Recruitment Consultants
- Identify new sales opportunities with a strong focus on New Business Development
- Account management of existing clients ensuring they are in line with business goals and objectives
- Ensure branch operations return profit margins and deliver revenue targets

The knowledge, skills and abilities we're looking for:

- Experience in leading and managing a diverse recruitment team with varied experience levels
- Experience in working in a fast paced and high volume environment
- Understanding of the local employment market and challenges involved in our business
- The ability to establish and nurture long lasting business relationships
- A high level of self-motivation and resilience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Natural sales ability and commercial acumen
- Excellent time management
- A tenacious, passionate and results driven mindset

The role will be based in the Employment Group office in Hobart and may at times require travel to multiple client sites. As such it is essential that you have a current drivers licence.
