The Viator team is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate Associate Product Manager to drive best-of-class experiences, making it easy for travellers to discover, compare, and book travel.
As an Associate Product Manager, you will be responsible for working with a global cross-functional team on every step of the product life cycle, from business requirements to post-launch analysis. The role will require interaction with a wide variety of teams, including Supply, Content, Marketing, Business Development, and other internal Product teams, to ensure a best-in-class experience for consumers.
**Summary of essential job functions**
- Leads outcomes to a focus area of the overall [domain] product roadmap.
- Be the voice of the customer and champion it through the entire organisation.
- Execute long-term goals for B2B business as well as tactical initiatives required for urgent needs.
- Build tools that innovate and optimise the way we deliver growth.
- Lead optimisation of our performance metrics with a customer-centric approach.
- Work with vendors, offshore teams, 3rd party providers and/or commercial software providers.
- Work with stakeholders to define customer journeys and translate strategic business ideas into product stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage technical projects, track progress towards milestones, and keep tabs on all the moving parts of agile planning and development cycles.
- Communicate the state of projects across teams, stakeholders as well as executives.
- Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems.
**Minimum requirements**
- 1- 2 years of product management experience.
- Experience in B2B, preferably eCommerce products in a customer-first environment.
- Experience working with customers, operators, external-facing APIs, marketplace platforms or third-party partners.
- Familiarity with travel industry concepts, practices and procedures, nice to have.
- The desire to work in a fast-paced outcome-driven environment with a diverse set of responsibilities.
- Proven ability to create, analyse and communicate analytics and performance metrics, SQL experience nice to have.
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise.
- Proficiency with agile development.
- Ability to collaborate with a global team across multiple time zones.
- Be prepared to work out of usual business hours to teleconference with overseas teams, as necessary.
- Occasional overseas travel may be required
