At OZSALE, we’re flipping the script on online value retail for a new generation of style-savvy shoppers. As a fast-moving, digitally native marketplace in fashion, footwear, beauty, and lifestyle, we deliver trend-led products at smart prices. Now under bold new ownership, we’re entering an exciting high-growth phase and footwear is centre stage.
We’re on the hunt for a Footwear Buyer who lives and breathes product, spots trends before they peak, and knows how to balance trend, value, and margin. From must-have sneaker drops to timeless boots, you’ll curate a range that’s impossible to scroll past.
**What you’ll do**:

- Define and deliver the footwear category strategy to achieve sales, margin, and growth targets.
- Build on-trend, value-led assortments that excite customers and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
- Identify market “white space” and act fast to fill it with high-impact product.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure best-in-class pricing, margin, exclusivity, and agility.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and eCommerce teams to deliver perfectly timed product drops with compelling content.
- Monitor sell-through and trading metrics to make rapid, data-led decisions on rebuys, markdowns, and promotions.
- Execute clearance strategies to move aged stock while protecting margin.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Proven experience buying in footwear within a fast-paced retail or eCommerce environment.
- Strong analytical skills with confidence in trading dashboards, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- A track record of scaling assortments while protecting margin and managing tight inventory.
- Sharp negotiation skills and supplier management experience, including global sourcing.
- A passion for fashion, trends, and understanding what makes customers click “add to cart.”
- Proactive, agile, and hands-on — with a genuine love for product and customers.
