**The Opportunity**

Goal Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Configuration Manager with knowledge of Defence's (CLC) and (FIC), to operate as an embedded part of an Integration as a Service (IaaS) team. This role can be worked Hybrid, 3 days on site in Melbourne.
- Provide specialist advice and knowledge in support of system replacement or modernisation activities.
- Perform complex technical configuration activities - establish, maintain & manage baselines and change control (CCBs) for multiple products' performance, functional and physical attributes, to requirements.
- Provide specialist knowledge to support engineering activities.
- Ensure quality and compliance with the relevant legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Engage with and manage stakeholders.
- Investigate, report, develop, evaluate, advise and implement policies, processes, procedures, practice.
- You may be required to be a team coach or lead a team and be accountable to set work priorities and manage workflows.

**About You**
- Current/recent experience in the Defence and/or CASG project engineering environment in a similar role.
- Ability to perform an extensive range and variety of complex technical work with limited guidance demonstrating initiative, creativity and responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience with systems and safety, security and managing technical risk.
- Advanced technical writing skills.
- CMT-L and DOORS highly desirable
- Defence sustainment experience would be advantageous.
- Understanding of Defence's CLC and FIC.
- Already have or ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
