About the Role:

- **Math Methods - Units 1 - 4**:

- **Specialist Math - Units 1 - 4**

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct engaging and effective small-group tutoring sessions.
- Support students in building a strong foundation in Mathematics, developing excellent study habits, and achieving academic success.
- Mark student work and provide constructive feedback to promote learning.
- Clearly communicate key concepts to students and provide updates to parents on progress.

Selection Criteria:

- **Education**: A VIT registered teacher or university student with an **ATAR score of 90+**and strong academic results. Applicants must have completed both primary and VCE education in Victoria.
- **Skills**: Strong knowledge of Mathematics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
- **Experience**: A background in Mathematics with a passion for teaching and working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- **Availability**: Must be reliable and available to work on weekends and after school hours.
- **Certifications**: A current **VIT registration** or **Working with Children Check** is required.
- **Personal Qualities**: Enthusiastic, open-minded, and capable of making learning enjoyable and engaging for students.
