**About the Role**:
We are looking for individuals with clear and effective communication skills and the ability to build professional, respectful relationships with participants and their families. This role involves working across a flexible **24/7 roster**, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Facilitate community participation and social inclusion
- Support independent living and life skills development
- Perform household and domestic duties, including cleaning and cooking
- Promote healthy routines and emotional wellbeing
- Identify and respond to physical, emotional, and relational needs
- Manage complex behaviours and implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSP) where required
- Accurately complete documentation and progress notes
- Administer medication as per training and support plans
- Ensure practice aligns with the **NDIS Code of Conduct**
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Respectful, reliable, and emotionally intelligent
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Flexible and available to work varied shifts across a 24/7 roster
- Confident in managing challenging behaviours
- Committed to person-centred, strengths-based support
**Essential Requirements**:
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Completion of NDIS modules and medication training (or willingness to complete)
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week
